Hi, I'm Vikas.

I'm from Sonbhadra. I did my B.Com from MGKVP University in Varanasi. Like you, I've been searching for ways to earn online. I've tried things, failed at some, succeeded at others.

I've personally tried these or seen real people do them:

1. YouTube Ad Revenue – Upload videos, enable monetization (1000 subs + 4000 watch hours). Pays per 1000 views. Real but hard.
2. YouTube Shorts Fund – Short videos under 60 seconds. Lower pay than long-form but easier to get views.
3. Instagram Reels Bonus – Meta pays some creators for reel performance. Mostly USA but some Indian creators qualify.
4. TikTok Creator Fund – Real. Mostly foreign creators, but if you can access global TikTok, it works.
5. Brand Sponsorships – Brands pay you to mention their products. Requires followers + engagement. ₹5,000-₹50,000 per post for small creators.
6. Affiliate Marketing on Social Media – Post your affiliate links in bio or captions. Earn commission on sales.
7. User-Generated Content (UGC) – Big one. You don't need followers. Brands pay ₹10,000-₹30,000 per video for you to create content they post on THEIR page. Phone + editing skills enough.
8. Podcasting – Start a podcast. Earn via sponsorships, ads, or listener support. Platforms like Anchor (Spotify for Podcasters).
9. Newsletter Writing – Platforms like Substack, Beehiiv. Free to start. Earn via paid subscriptions or sponsorships.
10. Blogging (WordPress, Blogger) – Display ads (Google AdSense), affiliate links, sponsored posts. Slow but steady.

Digital Products You Can Sell (I've made these myself):

11. E-books – Write a short PDF on something you know. ₹200-₹500 each. Sell unlimited copies.
12. Canva Templates – Social media templates, presentation designs. ₹200-₹1000 per template pack.
13. Notion Templates – Productivity dashboards, study planners, goal trackers. Sell globally.

What HASN'T Worked For Me

Being honest:

1. Dropshipping – Tried twice. Failed. Competition is too high.
2. Stock trading – Lost ₹5,000. I don't have the risk appetite.
3. YouTube – My channel has only 200 subscribers after 20 videos. Very hard.
4. Paid courses – I bought 3 courses. 2 were useless. Only 1 gave me value.

3. Give it 90 days – Most people quit after 30 days
4. Expect failures – I've failed more than I've succeeded

6. Don't believe the hype – Nobody makes ₹1 lakh in their first month
